That's Right, Armed Forces should not come under Civilian Command in Pakistan

In Pakistan, this is true.

That is because the Institute of Armed Forces of Pakistan is at least faithful to the existence, security and sovereignty of Pakistan even if not to the Muslim nationalism. While some of the civilian politicians of Pakistan come into power with the sole objective of grabbing and filling their pockets with as much money as possible. Some of them do not expect to be stay around long, or get another chance. Hence, they would do anything, anything at all to gain their monetary objectives in as short a time as possible, including compromising the state sovereignty, selling out state secrets and committing high treason.

Ideally, the army should be under civilian command, but not in a country where there is no strong, comprehensive and non-compromising moral criterion for political eligibility.

  1. Such blood and aggression in your writings !!! Don't you think the present 'existential and security' threats to Pakistan are a courtesy of our military rulers (and establishment)? They devised an excellent plan to balance the 'world' power, yet their execution is highly questionable. No?

  2. Blood and aggression? I do not think so, but if it is so, I am not surprised. What does surprise me is our fun and frothing around and peaceful sleeps when there is so much cruelty around us...

Apologies for Urdu. Here goes the interpretation.

    1. Well, explain how is it their courtesy? Because they participated in the Afghan Jihad and nurtured Mujahideen?
