Asalamo Alykum,

One of the reasons that PTI is so popular with the youth and progressive-minded people of Pakistan is that PTI gatherings are very juvenile, fun-filled and lively.

However, PTI must remember that music is undisputedly forbidden in Islam. It can easily and most appealingly be replaced by Nasheed singing accompanied by the Daff and other melodious sound effects. A very good example of such ‘music’ is by a British, Islamic band, Shaam.

We all like listening to Abrar-ul-Haq, Shahzad Roy and all the other singer supporters of PTI. However, we get very disturbed and double-minded because of the music inclusion.

I know PTI would not like to lose its music-lover supporters, but we, the religion-oriented have a right over PTI too. On the other hand, the most important clause is PTI’s own manifesto statement,

“Only thee we worship, and only thee we ask for help.” [The Holy Quran, (1) Surah Al-Fateha, Verse 5]

The magnificent and increasingly popularity of PTI is by the Grace of Allah Almighty. PTI must not forget the Islamic values as it advances in its growth and power.

Nasheed entertainment, and it will be another cool tradition set by PTI.

Wsalam,
