Tribute to Indian Leaders & Media for Nirbhaya

A tribute to the Indian leaders who cancelled all official New Year parties in the wake of the Delhi girl, Nirbhaya’s rape, while our leaders shake hands, host dinners and award medals to officers of the state which continues to endorse rape, naked cavity search and videotaping of it, for the daughter of the nation, Aafia Siddiqui. A tribute also to the Indian media, who black bordered their newspapers in mourning of the human tragedy, while our media was all colorful with minute-by-minute personal reports of Sania-Shoiab wedding in the very time period Aafia Siddiqui was due to be sentenced any day in 2010. A country progresses only when it cares for its people; no wonder India is far ahead of us today.
